Shewag’s triple hundred [300]

Chennai test the wicket was compeltely a batting paradise. If boycott had been a commentator he might have told even his grandma would have scored a century on this wicket.India’s really wasted the home advantage the way SA were playing it seemed that we were playing in SA  rather than in INDIA.

There should be a proper communication between the curator and the pitch community, they should discuss with the captain reagrding the kind of wicket he need.

The kind of craze T20 has brought in there is no use of making this kind of wicket and people will lose interest on test matches which is said to be a true test of character.

Highlight of this test were.

1. The amazing pace at which shewag scored the triple century.

2. Reborn of Neil Meckenzie

3. Lot Improved Hashim Amla

4. Pathetic fielding by Indians

anything u need to add other than this. kindly send in ur comments.

Legacy of Indian Sports going down

Monday it was shocker to hear Indian hockey team didn’t qualified for the Olympics, me being a great hockey fan following it from years too got disappointed then thought why is happening Indian Hockey Team has not own a medal its been ages now.

There are plenty of things that comes in mind reagrding all this but i love to say our Hockey team players are still the best in the world the kind of stick work they show is still the best.

Only thing they need is confidence and popularise Indian Hockey in small Town as well to get new rare talents which are in plenty in India only thing is we need to exploit them

See Indian cricket if a player Hits a six he will be getting Lakh ruppess and more.

Now a days people started thinking if i am not a part of Indian team then atleast i can be part of ICL or IPL and can earn lot of money  but Think about our Hockey players they get only 1000 ruppees if they score goal compare to Lakh rupees  got by a crickter.

Instead of playing blame game on IHF or Indian Hockey team let us  encourage our hard working players to win major tournaments. Before closing on this blog i again wish to say please get some help from Dhanraj pillay the power house of Indian Hockey.

Hope u like the column, any feedbacks or comments will be help me in future to improve on writing more..

Indian Hockey lost the fame [Long Live Indian Hockey]

It was shocking to see Indian Hockey Team didn’t even qualify for the Olympics. It wasn’t shocking news for me as it was bound to happen one day, Post Dharnraj  Pillay Era of Indian Hockey is pathetic and the way he was made to sit out of national team is even worse.

I don’t to put blame on Indian Hockey Team as they have some to talented players.  there is to much politics going on in IHF, players like viren kept out.

Modern Hockey has changed a lot earlier they used to do lot of stick work, I still feel indians or best at it, but modern Hockey needs long passes and lot of running and co-ordination that indian team lacks.

Now the question about how to make Indian team better

Either go with Dhanraj Pillay as Coach as he understands better and played lot of Hockey and i still feel he is the best forward in the world till date.

or go with foriegn coach as the way they approach the game is different and they bring in lot of changes into traditional Indian Hockey.

Lastly there is no need to Panic as Even Indian Cricket team got exited from WorldCup 2007 in first round then now everything got changed they defeated Australia in thier own backyard that no other team has done before.

They lost only to Great-Britain everything lost but no need to panic carvalho is good coach and he had potential but do take help from other seniors like Dhanraj pillay to make Indian Hockey to regain it’s past glory and pride.

Hope many may argue with this post but that’s what i felt….

sachin tendulkar the masterblaster

His detractors said he’s too old for the one-day format of the game, and should retire from that form to give an opportunity to one of the youngsters as India shapes its team for the 2011 World Cup to be held in the sub-continent. The critics were also baying for his blood citing his lack of runs in matches that mattered. But, the man in question, a certain Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, chose to get back at these detractors in the manner he knows best – scoring runs when the team really needed them in the Commonwealth Bank tri-series – the crunch league match against Sri Lanka and the first two matches of the best-of-three finals that helped India defeat Australia and lift the trophy.
Tendulkar amassed 399 runs from the 10 innings that he played in the CB Series at an average of 44.33 and an impressive strike rate of 85.25 with a highest score of 117* to finish second behind only his teammate Gautam Gambhir who scored 440 runs from 10 innings to emerge as the highest run-scorer in the tri-series.
India’s three-month long tour Down Under has given the country potential superstars for the future in the shape of Gambhir, pacer Ishant Sharma, middle-order batsman Rohit Sharma and leg-spinner Piyush Chawla, not to forget the growing stature of Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the country’s T20 and ODI captain. However, the biggest positive and one that is bound to dishearten bowlers around the world is that Tendulkar is showing no signs of letting up!
Yes, Tendulkar was in patchy form during the first half of the CB Series where he often lost his wicket to the new ball and appeared to lose his edge, but all that changed in the 11th match of the tournament when India played Sri Lanka in a must-win game to ensure its place in the finals. Sri Lanka set India a modest target of 180 and Lasith Malinga removed Robin Uthappa early in the Indian run chase. This was the time when Tendulkar decided to take charge of the proceedings and played some breathtaking shots in his attacking knock of 63 off 54 balls to ensure there would be no further hiccups. The sheer arrogance of his shots seemed to deflate the Lankans, and by the time Muttiah Muralitharan managed to dismiss Tendulkar in the 21st over, India were only 60 runs away from victory.

Sachin silences the critics [ especially sanjay manjrekar]

Manjrekar resently made few comments on little genius inablity to perform in the second innings and sachin made him to eat his words as he use to do from past 17 years.

He played an awsome innings to guide india home in first final of CB-Series.

Sachin Tendulkar scored his first ODI century in Australia as India won the first final of the CB series by six wickets at the SCG but i missed this innings as i was working on weekend.

Hope India wins the second final and return home triumphant.

All the best…..

Sydney Test: When Cheaters turned Teachers

After watching the test match,  some rules have to be incorporated by ICC to give the other teams a perfect clarification

(1)
Ricky Ponting – (THE TRULY GENUINE CRICKETER OF THE CRICKET ERA AND WHOSE INTEGRITY SHOULD NOT BE DOUBTED) should be considered as the FOURTH UMPIRE. As per the new rules, FOURTH UMPIRE decision is final and will over ride any decisions taken by any other umpires. ON-FIELD umpires can seek the assistance of RICKY PONTING even if he is not on the field. This rule is to be made, so that every team should understand the importance of the FOURTH UMPIRE.

(2)
While AUSTRALIAN TEAM is bowling, If the ball flies anywhere close to the AUSTRALIAN FIELDER(WITHIN 5 metre distance), the batsman is to be considered OUT irrelevant of whether the catch was taken cleanly or grassed. Any decision for further clarification should be seeked from the FOURTH UMPIRE. This is made to ensure that the cricket is played with SPORTIVE SPIRIT by all the teams.
